Yannick Eijssen (BMC) crash @4:09 Belgian cyclist Yannick Eijssen has been forced out of the Tour of Beijing after an accident apparently caused by a signboard loosened by a low flying helicopter. Eijssen, who rides for the BMC Racing team, suffered a fracture to a small bone beneath his nose in what race organizers called a “freak accident.” The 22-year-old was to be released from hospital “soon,” according to a notice on the Tour of Beijing official website citing a BMC team doctor. for someone who’s never watched a COMPLETE bike race before; this really amazes me how fast their pace really is. Also, how good of shape these riders have to be in.

Well that’s why the Chinese people fail at cycling races.
The race sucks, things like this happens, there’s too much smog.
If I were a rider I should just say, “let me ride every other race but not that one.”
