A 4.3 magnitude earthquake struck Langfang city in north China’s Hebei Province on Monday, China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC) reported.
The quake happened at around 6:31 p.m. local time (1031GMT) in Yongqing county, some 50 km south of Beijing.
Tremors were felt in Beijing.
The epicenter of the earthquake was at the depth of 20 km, 39.37 degrees north latitude and 116.67 degrees east longitude, according to the CENC.
