  1. I suspect this has more to do with stopping capital flight out of China, since Hong Kong tends to be the first destination where Chinese money illegally goes to become international.

  7. You already know it's only a matter of time before China says fuck it and take Hong Kong over completely. I thought China was suppose to give Hong Kong 50 years of autonomy. But I have a feeling China is going to accelerate that.

  11. There are 7.4 million hongkong resident.Let's assume there are really 1 million people in this parade, other 80% is still fine with the law. As far as I remember, morn than 50% of the US citizens don't want trump as their president. Is 50% smaller thsn 15%? Sorry I know you don't care about facts.

None of these peoples protested when one of their own citizen HK passport (Meng Wan-Zhou) was kidnapped for ransom in Canada to be extradited to the US based on false accusation and politically motivated against Huawei. There was no protest during the 100 years of British colonization and Hong Kongers didn't even have the rights to vote but after 1997 they were told they must have freedom and democracy against China.
