Hong Kong police have fired tear gas and rubber bullets at protesters trying to storm the city’s legislature after tens of thousands of demonstrators rallied against a contentious extradition bill. It came after Hong Kong officials called on protesters to leave the area where huge crowds have been surrounding government headquarters, blocking the entrance to the legislative council and delaying a debate on the proposal.

  3. This beliefs that peacefully protest will achieve a change is futile thinking. Most change had happened with force including French revolution, US separation from England, Indonesia getting rid of it's dictator, Mao Zedong, USSR revolution etc… So if Hong Kong or the West wants to get rid of preserve it's identity, you must fight back with the same power be for Democracy in China or getting rid of another ideology in Europe. The strong and bully regime or ideology will only bow to a stronger force!

  6. Can someone tell me WHY THE HELL DOES AUSTRALIA ALLOW CHINESE OFFICIALS AND BUSINESSMEN to come to Australia???..
    Do we REALLY NEED cheap cell phones and TVs and second rate crap so badly??..
    Does anyone know for certain if we still send them money for development ??..
    Hong Kong could become a second Tibet…
    OR a good place to pick up a few take away organs….
