How much little steps like that do we go though while visiting the imperial palace? I don’t know but I won’t ever feel tired about walking again and again through the alleys, courts, halls, pavilions, gardens of the Forbidden City. Like this young lady, visiting the place alone is for me the best option to consider if you are one of those who are looking for a real travel to the past.
