Maybe I will repeat something I already said many times here (I’m sure I will) but in China, a life without a cellphone is just impossible. I used to travel to China very often for more than 10 years before deciding to settle down here a year ago now. And it is since when I’ve started to live my “Chinese dream” that I’ve realized how mobile can be an addiction here. We are all phone addicted, and I have to say I’m also now. We are doing everything from our mobile in China from ordering food, paying the bill, online shopping, social life… All kind of personnel or professional communications go through WeChat. Bye bye phone call, sms, email… Last time I went to the Forbidden City, I’ve hidden my mobile in the bottom of my camera bag in order to make sure that it won’t disturb my pleasure to explore and enjoy such a beautiful place. This guy should better have done same…
This is China.
