Chinese President returns to Beijing after visiting Finland, U.S.

published: 2017-04-08 17:55:12 Chinese President Xi Jinping has returned to Beijing after a 3-day visit to Finland and meeting with his US counterpart Donald Trump. During his stay at Trump’s Mar-A-Lago estate in Florida, Xi and Trump exchanged views on key areas of cooperation, as well as global and regional issues of common concern. The two leaders agreed to establish a comprehensive dialogue mechanism. And President Trump accepted an invitation to visit China some time later this year. Multiple deals were signed during President Xi’s visit to Finland. China and Finland agreed to establish and promote a future-oriented new-type of cooperative partnership, with both sides pledging to enhance political mutual trust and deepen pragmatic cooperation.
