China: Beijing vows to take 'bigger role' in world peace ahead of National Congress

The 19th edition of the National Congress of the CPC is set to begin in Beijing on October 18th, and will run for seven days. The congress is expected to confirm a second five-year term for Xi Jinping, who has been in front of the governing body since 2012.
