Films of 5 continents became participants in the XIX Within the Family film festival

In Yaroslavl the XIX Within the Family film festival took place. The event gathered more than 10 thousand. viewers.

During the opening ceremony of the festival, a welcoming telegram from the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, was read to its guests and participants. The festival was supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the Government of Yaroslavl Region, the Mayor’s Office of Yaroslavl, the State Corporation ” Rostek ” and its CEO Sergey Chemezov.

Among the famous people who greeted the guests and spectators of the festival, Irina Medvedev, Vladimir Sychev, Nonna Grishaeva, Fedor Dobronravova, Denis Nikiforov, Aleksey Demidov, Aleksandra Samoylenko and others should be named.

The festival program included works of different genres and issues, but with one cross-cutting theme – families, the life of modern children and parents in different parts of the globe. The Grand Prix of the film festival was awarded to the film ” Second Life” (Tunisia).

This year, films representing five continents and 39 countries (Russia, Italy, Turkey, India, Australia, China, Spain, USA, Tunisia, South Korea, Taiwan, Iran etc.) became participants in the film festival.

The social network “Odnoklassniki” hosted the online broadcast of the festival’s most important events. Over 2.5 million festival broadcasts have been recorded on the platform.
