Hong Kong: Protesters clash with police following election of pro-Beijing candidate Carrie Lam

Pro-democracy protesters clashed with police outside the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in Wan Chai on Sunday following the election of pro-Beijing candidate Carrie Lam as the city’s new chief executive. Metal barricades were used to prevent demonstrators from breaching the man-made wall.
