‘Kubuqi’ dance drama meets Beijing for Inner Mongolia’s 70th birthday

To mark the 70th anniversary of the founding of north China’s Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, a new dance drama, “Kubuqi”, was staged in Beijing, inspired by a local fable about a magic flower that cured diseases among residents living in the Kubuqi desert. The theater piece coincides with an exhibition of traditional Chinese paper cutting on display in Baotou City.
