Security and Slogans in Beijing ahead 19th Party Congress

Subway commuters have been subjected to pat down searches by security guards and additional checkpoints have been installed around Tiananmen Square. The city is also awash with party political slogans on every major street and you can’t escape the presence of signs promoting Communist values and trumpeting the party’s achievements.
